Stratusphere™ FIT & UX

The Stratusphere solutions are available as downloadable virtual appliances. These virtual appliances include both Stratusphere FIT and Stratusphere UX.

A single Stratusphere Hub can be used without the Database Appliance. However, you may need to download the Stratusphere Database Appliance below for high performance and scalability depending on both the number of CID Keys/Desktops/Users you have and the frequency of callback you require. Please use the Online Stratusphere Sizing Guide to determine your needs or contact your Sales Executive, Sales Engineer, or Customer Support for additional assistance.

Please see the Stratusphere Hotfix List for more information on released software fixes related to the version of software you have selected to install. Upgrading or re-installing software will overwrite previously installed versions and any possible hotfixes applied to your environment. You can re-deploy hotfixes to your environment after installing the software below.

Nutanix AHV Appliance Options

Nutanix does NOT provide a virtual container format such as OVF or XVA. Thus, each QCOW2 has to be uploaded separately first, and then virtual resources such as vCPUs, RAM, Disks, NICs, etc. need to be manually configured for each appliance.

  For New Software Installations

Critical issue — Using Cloud Storage with FlexApp Packages

In 6.9.5 and 6.9.5 HF1, creating, importing, or modifying a FlexApp package stored in cloud storage permanently deletes that package's .fa1 file. The package cannot be recovered, and there is no warning before the file is removed.

This affects the FlexApp Packaging Console and FlexApp One Packaging Console, including the FlexApp Packaging Console installed as part of the ProfileUnity Management Console. It applies to FlexApp packages using cloud storage only — packages on file share storage are not affected, and all other components of this release operate normally.

Before packaging to cloud storage, review the associated Support KB for the interim workaround. A fix is planned for the next hotfix.

FlexApp One eliminates online dependencies, enabling application delivery that works anywhere, anytime—even completely offline. Applications are packaged as self-contained, single-file executables that require no installation—just click and run. Distribute packages through any method: Intune, SCCM, Citrix, Workspace ONE, ProfileUnity, or direct file transfer. Use FlexApp One for physical endpoints, remote/traveling users, contractor devices, air-gapped environments, disaster recovery scenarios, and any deployment where network connectivity is intermittent or unavailable.

Critical issue — Using Cloud Storage with FlexApp Packages

In 6.9.5 and 6.9.5 HF1, creating, importing, or modifying a FlexApp package stored in cloud storage permanently deletes that package's .fa1 file. The package cannot be recovered, and there is no warning before the file is removed.

This affects the FlexApp Packaging Console and FlexApp One Packaging Console, including the FlexApp Packaging Console installed as part of the ProfileUnity Management Console. It applies to FlexApp packages using cloud storage only — packages on file share storage are not affected, and all other components of this release operate normally.

Before packaging to cloud storage, review the associated Support KB for the interim workaround. A fix is planned for the next hotfix.
